    A visit to historic Portsmouth, Southsea and the Isle of Wight, UK.   Portsmouth is known for its historic dockyard and is home to the Royal Navy. So much history and so much to do here. If you are into maritime history this is the place.  The dockyard is populated with well known ships which played pivotal roles in naval history.   Her majesty’s majestic warships such as the HMS warrior the only surviving ship from a significant WW1 campaign, Vice- Lord Admiral Nelsons HMS Victory, the submarine Alliance and the Mary Rose museum  which shows the 400 year hull, a  Tudor relic rest here.      Coconut shell 2 cup (256gram) fine coconut (coco) flakes 1/2 cup (100gram)sugar 1/4 cup flour +2tbs (157 gram+30 ml)total =160grams +/- I also added 1tsp nutmeg  and 1tsp cinnamon for flavor 1tsp vanilla  and 2 egg whites Grease pan with butter evenly. press mixture evenly into pan Bake at 375F(190C) center oven 15 min  or until golden brown Cool on wire rack 2min Use knife to gently separatefrom pan sides.     Neolithic Monolith Stone Formations of Erdeven and Carnac in Brittany, France

    Not to be missed the monoliths are a reminder of our prehistoric past. if you are into history this is a good place to explore. Many tourist see Stonehenge as the premier site to visit for stone formations and although I have not been to that location as yet I will venture to say these sites might give it a run for the money. I went in the off season on a particular rainy day in Brittany ..which is not saying a lot because there a lot of rainy days in Brittany however, with less tourist I felt free to roam about unencumbered by lots of people and unavailable parking.…

    Le Mount St Michel, France

    Le Mount St Michel sits in a bay on the border between Normandy and Brittany and at one time was probably one of the most important sites in Europe for learning and christian pilgrimages. This fortress was undoubtedly the jewel in the Christian crown of what was in the time of the  Middle Ages… Normandy.
