Along The Beautiful Northern Brittany Coast From the Crozon Peninsula to Brest and Roscoff

Discover the rugged beauty of northern Brittany, France it’s food and it’s majestic beauty. Filled with Beautiful coastline, endless fields of yellow flowers used to make cooking oil, and spring flowers as far as the eyes can see. Eat amazing local foods such as fresh local sea foods and don’t forget to try the famous Galette (buckwheat crepe). This area has a lot to offer the casual tourist. Come in the off season if you just want to relax without the large tourist crowds but if you want some adventure bring your surfboards to ride the wild waves, bring fishing gear to relax or take up a new hobby, try wind surfing. If you are more the land adventurer try horseback riding or walking on the various walking trails which hugs the beautiful rugged coastline. Bring a good wind/rain/warm jacket as the weather is known to change rapidly. Pack a lunch and water or visit one of the many local restaurants open in the on and off season. Be mindful of the local holiday open and closed times and relax into local life. If you have time I highly suggest seeing the Brittany region by Caravan, camping car or converted camper. If you are not that adventurous there are plenty of Gites, chambre d’hote, hotels and rented accommodations to accommodate the weary and eager traveler. Some rooms can be booked on the normal english language booking site or you may need to reserve on one of the many French Gite or chambre d’hote sites using google translate to assist or call your host. Whatever you decide I hope you will just go! You will not be disappointed.
