Not to be missed the monoliths are a reminder of our prehistoric past. if you are into history this is a good place to explore. Many tourist see Stonehenge as the premier site to visit for stone formations and although I have not been to that location as yet I will venture to say these sites might give it a run for the money. Episode 7 Abbaye Beauport Paimpol Bay, Brittany, France
The Abbaye Beauport is located in Paimpol Bay, Brittany, France. It is also located along the GR34 Sentier Littoral. In the early days of inception it was one of the many places to stop over on the way to Santiago de Compostela, Spain on Pilgrimage. It is a medieval gothic style monastery with adjoined gardens. The foundation was built in 1202. Closed during the French Revolution the property was subsequently sold off to 3 families in Paimpol. In 1992 a coastal conservation society bought the property and and implemented protected measures to restore and make the property available to the public. Over 50,000 people per year now visit the Abbaye.

Episode 6 Coastof Northwest France from Normandy to Brittany
On the GR34 SENTIER LITTORAL in PAIMPOL,SILLON DE TALBERT, SAINT -QUAY PORT D’AMOR, and ERQUY It was another fun filled yet relaxing weekend as the adventure continued along the northwest French coast from Normandy to Britanny. Traveling along the GR 34, Sentier du Littoral, it was nothing but beach. The summer crowds are gone and it was truly enjoyable. Time for some casual weekend walking, dipping a toe in the water and urging time to pass slowly. This area is know for old battles and oyster farming but in current days I promise you will find calmer waters still with thriving oyster farms and much peace. I recommend this area for…

Episode 5: Simple Pleasures and Continuation Along the Northwest Normandy Coast
Continuing to follow the coast in Northwest Normandy Episode 5 centers around Chemins de Ronde, Concale, San Malo, Sainte Cast Le Guildo and Arromanches Les Blaines and remembering simple pleasures. Taking time to breathe and center ourselves. This area definitely worth a visit in summer but perhaps off season is best if you hate crowds. Wonderful fishing and sailing areas and plenty of places to just relax and take a load off your feet.
