Kennedy Space Center and Mission to ISS

Have you ever looked up to the sky and wondered how the astronauts got up there. A visit to Kennedy Space Center will satisfy your curiosity. Just about an hour’s drive outside Orlando and about 2-3 hours from Tampa, Kennedy Space Center is located close to Merritt Island, Florida. On any given day you can meet and talk with astronauts, take the tour and discover science in action or schedule your visit for a day when a launch will take place. There is a extra fee to do astronaut one on one talks and also for sitting in the visitor seating during a launch but I promise you you will not be dissatisfied. There is also a space camp for junior astronaut wanna be’s. Visit the new mission to Mars display and gaze at the rovers, engines and rockets, see the launchpad up close.
